reasonable cause to know or suspect.
- If a report proves to be erroneous, you will not be at
fault as an educator.
- Your good faith effort made in reporting was for the
protection of the child. Good faith simply means your honest
belief that the child was abused. The law does not require
proof; it specifically does require reporting of suspected
child abuse.
- As professionally mandated reporter(s) (educators), your
responsibilities set forth by Florida Statute 415, clearly
outline your reporting role.
- As an educator, let's call a halt to child abuse by
reporting it.
